📜 End-User License Agreement (EULA)

1. License Grant

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and the Developer for the use of the Genius Scan – PDF Scan mobile application (“Application”).

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application on a device you own or control for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the Application

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application

  • Rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Application to third parties

  • Use the Application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

All intellectual property rights in and to the Application remain with the Developer.

3. Ownership

The Application is licensed, not sold. The Developer retains all rights, title, and interest in the Application, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

The Application does not collect personal information. All scans and data are stored locally on your device.

The Application uses third-party services that may collect anonymized technical or analytical data:

  • Google Play Services

  • Firebase Analytics

  • Firebase Crashlytics

  • Google AdMob (ads and advertising ID)

These services are governed by their own privacy policies. Use of the Application implies consent to their use in compliance with applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, ATT framework).

5. Updates and Modifications

The Developer may release updates, enhancements, or bug fixes. These updates may be applied automatically or require manual download. Continued use of the Application after updates indicates your acceptance of the changes.

6. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the Application from your device.

The Developer may terminate this Agreement without notice if:

  • You breach any term of this Agreement

  • The Application is discontinued

Upon termination, your right to use the Application will cease, and you must uninstall and delete all copies from your devices.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Application is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

The Developer makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Performance, accuracy, or reliability

  • Suitability for a particular purpose

  • Freedom from bugs, viruses, or errors

You assume full responsibility for your use of the Application.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data stored on your device

  • Issues arising from use of third-party services or ads

9. Legal Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and export control laws.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
